Tips for Changing the Size of Paper to the Custom Size in Microsoft Word

During the setup process, the printer will customize paper sizes and types. The user then enters the paper settings on the main page of setup. These sections will show how to modify the settings for specific sizes or types.

Create a custom-designed paper width and paper type at the manufacturer’s setup page.o Register a custom paper height with the printer driver. If the custom paper’s height is greater than 432 mm (17in), you can utilize the back output tray to print instead of the standard tray.o In the Print dialog box, select “Fit To” and move the tray to the exact position in which you would like your custom paper to be printed.

To change the size of the custom paper, go to the tab called Printing Setup. Click “IKBS” under the section titled “Printer Properties”. Click “slider” in the General section. Slide the sliders to your left until you see “Invalid Setup Value?” Click “OK” If you see “Invalid Setup Value?”

To alter the custom width, go to the Printing Setup tab. Click “IKBS” Click “slider” in the General section. Move the sliders to your right until you get “Invalid Setup Value?” ” Then click ” OK.” In the Print Results section, you will see the new custom size and width.

Utilizing the arrow keys, move the sliders to your left until you see “Change custom paper widths.” The number of pages that can be changed is automatically set by pressing the shift key, and then pressing enter. To undo the change you need to press the return key. To make changes to other pages, simply repeat the process until you are pleased with the new size. You can move the sliders to the left or right using the Arrow keys.

To change the tray and sheet sizes first, you must open the Printing Setup. Select the appropriate size of paper that will work with your printer under “Printers and Paper” Next, select the option that will display an automatic tray switch function. The next time you print a document the driver for your printer will automatically alter the size of the tray and sheet to match the specifications of your custom printing.

To alter the size of the page you want to print first, visit the Printing Setup and then click on “page size.” In the drop-down menu select the desired size. If you want to stretch the page prior to printing choose “stretch” in the papers-papers pull-down menu. In other cases, the current custom-size will be used. To change the size, click “set new size” in the pull-down menu.

o To print documents in black and white you must set the paper sizes to black and white in the Printing Setup. Then, select “print.” The new size will be added onto the page of your document. To alter the color, choose the color you want and then select it in the same drop-down menu as the custom sizes for paper.

If the paper’s length exceeds 430 mm (17 inches), set the custom size as large as possible. If you’re using non-printer drivers, check the tray height. In the pull-down menu, select “auto tray Height”. The printer driver will calculate the correct height automatically based on the display height. If this option isn’t accessible the maximum height of the tray will be used.

To increase the paper tray depth, select “set depth to default.” This option is only accessible to the tray that isn’t a printer. Once you have selected the depth, the maximum depth will be used. If your document is printed on heavier paper, like a thicker one, such as aight or bond paper, you may not need to increase the depth beyond the 297 mm.

o Always open the file menu before printing the document. Click on the “file icon” instead of the “Printing” button. Many printers allow you open the menu menu for files by pressing the “print” button instead. Some printers will require that you click on the “print button” before you can change the size of your custom print. After you have completed the process of customizing the size of your paper after which you click the “OK” button on the PRINTS and FOLDS screen. The document will be adjusted to your custom size. The entire process only takes several seconds. If there are any errors the error message will pop up. You can also type in an entirely new password. If you do not see an error message, then the custom paper size was applied successfully.
